Bloomfield Methodist Church is situated in the heart of East Belfast, close to Castlereagh and the Holywood Arches. Serving a wide surrounding area, the church has strong connections within the local community through a range of outreach initiatives and activities.

Our church is a modern, welcoming space with a bright and friendly atmosphere. Like many churches, we offer a variety of groups and organisations that you are welcome to become involved in, but there is never any pressure to participate. We encourage everyone to engage at a pace that feels comfortable for them.

Bloomfield Methodist Church is fully accessible and can easily accommodate wheelchair users and visitors with additional mobility needs.

Open for Prayer

Our church is open for prayer on Tuesday mornings, providing a quiet and welcoming space for anyone who wishes to pause and reflect. Whether you are feeling hurt, anxious, grieving, facing change, concerned for someone you love, searching for peace, or simply seeking God's presence, you are invited to come and spend time in prayer and stillness.

Kids4Schools Trip- update.

Tanzania Mission Trip 2027: Gary Allen from EBM is organising a mission trip to Tanzania in August 2027. The only cost you have to pay is your flights. Accommodation and all food is supplied by Kids4Schools. Cost of flights can't be known until closer to the time. The cost for flights for mission trips this year was approx. £1500 per person. The trip involves going into schools and running bible clubs leading choruses. We would also distribute food in the local community. T

Friday 19th June at 3:30-5pm Skainos Centre – Language Fair This Language Fair will give you a chance to meet people from other countries who speak other languages, and to find out what other churches and organisations are doing to welcome newcomers to Northern Ireland, helping them learn English and building friendships with them. Abseiling for Little Heroes On Saturday 20th June 2026, I will be taking on a challenge that is well outside my comfort zone - abseiling down Fairhead Cliff, one of Northern Ireland's highest cliffs, to raise funds for Little Heroes. As someone with a fear of heights, this is not something I am looking forward to, but it is a small challenge compared to what many children and their families face every day at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
